Emergency Rental Assistance Program SUMMARY - 2021
The Hispanic Corporation submitted 103 applications from Latino Families living in Allegheny County.
PHDC has disbursed more than $480,175.58 in rent payments and utilities assistance.
In 2021, PHDC disbursed 252.3% more funds for Latino families in Allegheny County than in 2020.
In 2021, PHDC assisted 43 families more than in 2020.
In 2021, We assisted 100 individuals more than in 2020.
Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP)
The Hispanic Corporation collaborated with Action Housing and the City of Pittsburgh in providing economic assistance to households through the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP), which helps to provide rent payments for families in Allegheny County that were impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The Hispanic Corporation is a center of resource for ERAP assistance within the Hispanic Community in the greater Pittsburgh area, providing services in Spanish, Portuguese and English. We are receiving the inquiries from the community to processing household applications through the County.
